The 2027 plan
On 2 October the Paris market received a conspicuous proposal from Financière Marjos SCA.
Dormant until now, it plans to mobilise and reposition as an AI data centre investor in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, to rename itself Future Infra SCA, and to raise capital in 2027.
WhiteFiber partnership
It would start as WhiteFiber’s partner. WhiteFiber develops, owns and operates AI data centre infrastructure on a vertically integrated basis, and Bit Digital controls both.
One or more joint ventures would give FINM that platform for site sourcing, acquisition, development, operations and project finance, with the first assets taken from WhiteFiber’s pipeline.
It then wants its own pipeline in Europe, North America, Japan, Singapore and Australia, favouring powered sites and converted industrial properties, and may place structured capital in other AI data centre names via structured or participating debt, preferred shares and hybrid instruments.
Leadership
The preliminary C-suite names Sam Tabar, who runs WhiteFiber, as chief executive and expected joint managing partner; Bryan Bullett as chief strategy and capital markets officer; Erke Huang as chief financial officer; and Philippe Gellman as joint managing partner and head of French institutional investor relations.
“A partnership with WhiteFiber would give the company immediate access to a proven data centers platform and a portfolio of projects, while we progressively build our own capabilities and our own portfolio internationally,” Tabar said.
The AMF
FINM is a listed wrapper still awaiting a business. AMF approval plus a completed 2027 raise would make it one of the few European listed vehicles with direct AI data centre exposure, backed by an operator already building them.
FinanceFeeds has reported that Bit Digital holds a majority stake in WhiteFiber and is extending a $100 million delayed-draw term loan to a WhiteFiber subsidiary for near-term high-performance computing and AI infrastructure expansion, and the facility can rise to $150 million if both sides agree.
Until then, catalysts drive the story, and the regulator takes the first decision.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Financière Marjos planning to do?
The company, dormant until now, told the Paris market on 2 October that it plans to mobilise and reposition as an investor in AI data centres across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, and to rename itself Future Infra SCA. A capital raise is planned for 2027. Bit Digital controls both Future Infra and WhiteFiber, the operating partner the company intends to start with.
How would the WhiteFiber partnership work?
Through one or more joint ventures, FINM would use WhiteFiber’s platform for site sourcing, acquisition, development, operations and project finance, and take its first portfolio from WhiteFiber’s pipeline. It later wants its own pipeline in Europe, North America, Japan, Singapore and Australia, favouring powered sites and converted industrial properties. It may also use structured or participating debt, preferred shares and hybrid instruments to put capital into other AI data centre companies.
What has to happen before Future Infra is an operating business?
FINM is still a listed wrapper waiting for a business. The AMF has to approve the plan, and the 2027 raise has to be completed, before the company can become one of the few European listed vehicles offering direct exposure to AI data centres. Until that happens, catalysts drive the story, and the regulator holds the first decision. Sam Tabar, who runs WhiteFiber, is the expected chief executive and joint managing partner.
